Somehow I managed to survive the week of Thanksgiving and even have a 2 pound loss! Thank you, Lord!
I only had one real treat the entire time (a coffee cup of M00se Tracks Ice Cream - my fave!!) It was a challenging time since we do 2 Thanksgivings - his family's one day and mine the next. I ate a banana with peanut butter at 12:30, knowing we would be eating lunch at 1:00, just to keep me from being starving. I also got some extra exercise in since I was off work. I had to really bundle up, but it was nice being outside.
I'll be attending two different Christmas Brunches over the next 2 Saturdays and, for me, they will be more challenging than Thanksgiving.
My total weight loss is 29.5 pounds and I have 3 more to go to reach my goal by the end of the year.

You are doing really well! I think that once we are on a good plan with our eating, even a whole meal that is off of it doesn't make much of a blip. Although I did have a case of indigestion after our dinner on Thanksgiving. But you just move on. I figure that things will be pretty much the same for me at Christmas.
Well, I'd say you're certainly in good standing to finish the year at your goal weight! Congratulations!!
I am so happy for you. That is great. You are so close. Can't you just taste the success?
You do have to allow for a little splurge every now and then. So, don't be hard on yourself about the moose tracks.
As far as the upcoming Christmas brunches, do what you did at Christmas and eat something to fill the void before you go to prevent you from being tempted into eating too much of a bad thing.
Hope to see less of you and me next week.
Great plan to eat the banana and pb before dinner. If I have a big "social" meal coming I try to do much the same. I also have a big drink of water. Sure helps me to be focused.
Keep up the good work.
Good snacking idea. Grate goal attainment!
You are doing SO well....just keep looking towards that goal and you'll get there! WTG on your loss also.
Lisa, that's amazing! I've also had a loss over the holidays and I had a quite a few treats (just little bites of everything).
We're almost inthe same boat with our weight loss, I've lost a total of 27. Good luck!
Wow, good for you! Congrats on being so close to your goal.
